Brancusi said that it is not hard to do things, but it is hard to get into the things-doing state. The state of calm and clear disposition where, although the final result is already imprinted onto retina, the succession of movements is smooth, utterly certain and tranquil. The feeling of intimacy surpasses all descriptive means. It is the state of play where nothing is necessary as end result but only as adventure.I like to call it the heart inspired state. The heart is the place where we may reach the state of doing things. From the heart nurturing life water flows, feeding our entire being and the entire doing of things.
How can we get to our heart and how do we knock for it to open? This is the role of art.
