HuMan Eyes ~ a poem of shifting perception

Train your eyes to see

the empty space.

Each day you’ll notice

movement of particles,

patterns, perhaps.

Train your eyes to see

any thought as an agglomeration

of emptiness particles,

almost an object.

Each day you’ll notice

movement of almost objects,

collisions, perhaps.

Train your eyes to see

your personality as an agglomeration

of almost objects,

more or less neatly arranged,

which is fine.

Each day you’ll notice

new rooms, hallways,

bookshelves, drawers,

upholstery,

art displayed,

threatened or attacked sometimes

by foreign, unliked almost objects.

Train your eyes to see

any human interaction as an exchange

more or less ethical

of bookshelves, drawers,

upholstery, art,

hooks even.

Each day you’ll notice

various agglomerations

of personalities

more or less arranged,

which is fine.

Return your focus now

on the empty space.

Train switching your focus

back and forth,

until you see clearly

both worlds.

Congratulations!

You are Hu

man.
